The event was officiated by Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian, with key officials of FAME International Educational Group such as managing director Eddie Wee and chief executive officer David Chew present. “Fame-Meta.com offers a flexible, efficient, and cost-effective e-learning platform aimed at reskilling, upskilling and self-paced learning. “It provides an alternative means for individuals to access education, especially for those unable to pursue formal education due to time constraints or other barriers,” said Chew in his speech during the event. The MoU is signed by FAME Chief Executive Officer Mr David Chew and the Portfolio Head of ACCA Maritime Southeast Asia Mr Andrew Lim on behalf of ACCA. FAME International College 20th Graduation Ceremony FAME International College (FAME) is celebrating its 20th Graduation Ceremony at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching on 22 October 2023. A total of 138 graduates received their scrolls at the college’s 20th graduation ceremony today. Deputy Premier of Sarawak Yang Berhormat Datuk Amar Professor Dr. Sim Kui Hian graced the event as the guest of honour. Also present was FAME chairman YBhg Tuan Haji Ikhwan Bin Zaidel. Joining in the celebration were representatives from the college’s university partner, the University of Cumbria, United Kingdom, Ms. Dee de Rocha, International Director and Mr. David McGregor, Head of Collaborative Provision. FAME celebrates 25th Anniversary

  KUCHING 22 October 2023: FAME International College (FAME) celebrates its 25th  anniversary with a grand dinner held in Borneo Convention Centre Kuching. The grand celebration was graced by Deputy Premier of Sarawak Yang Berhormat Datuk Amar Professor Dr. Sim Kui Hian who also gave a keynote address. Other invited guests joining the celebration include FAME’s UK partner university representatives, school representatives, industrialists, corporate leaders, graduates, and their families and friends. Earlier in the afternoon, the college held it 20th graduation ceremony for certificate, diploma, and degree graduates. The evening opened with a 24-season drums presentation followed by a cake-cutting ceremony.FAME’s CEO Mr David Chew gave his welcoming remarks and shared the college’s transformation initiatives. A new city campus, capable of accommodating 1,500 students, will be operational by 2026 equipped with state-of-the-art technology set in a vibrant high-end new commercial and residential area.
